Why most successful women suffer from self-doubt and what you can do about it.

This post is not about a jab toward men but an observation about women in general.

For decades, women have taken on the role in families as the nurturer, chief cook and bottle washer, and support system for the family. When you add in a woman who is working outside the home while taking care of children, it can be a daunting task.

Even for a woman like myself, who does not have children, taking care of everyone and suffering from self-doubt can really weigh on a woman’s mind. Are we doing as much as we should for our children, our spouse or partner? Are we providing nutritious meals, reading time, educating our loved ones enough? All of these things take away from our own personal needs and we do it freely, but at what cost?

We feel like we have to be everything to everyone, and we forget about the person we need to take care of the most, and that is ourselves. If we are not able to take care of ourselves and tend to our needs first, we are not able to support those that we love. Self-doubt is real and more women have it more than they realize or are willing to admit.

I am here to tell you that you are doing a wonderful job taking care of your children, your home, your job and the 99,000 other things you have to do every single day.

At the end of the day you need to remember that you are one person, a person who has needs and self-doubt should not cloud your desire to achieve them. Are you ready? Visit www.kimjarvisco.com to achieve your goals and desires.

Till we meet again…
