People ask me why I became a coach. My answer is always simple…to make other women believe they can do anything they want in life with a support system that has the knowledge, the experience, and the internal drive to help them be successful.
So many times, we live a lifetime of experiences and never share them with another person. We go through life learning, taking in all of life experiences, but never think that we could be sharing them with others and creating a positive impact in the world.
When I work with clients who want to lose weight, I share with them my struggle of overeating, the stress that came along with it, and the guilt that followed only to create a vicious cycle. At my heaviest I weighed 225 pounds. I am currently at 157 pounds and feel great.
It took a long time and determination for me to lose the weight, and I did it because I wanted to see my life change and become healthier. What I didn’t expect is that not only did I become healthier physically, I also started seeing myself in a healthier way mentally. I began to realize that I could do more, and my self-worth went up astronomically. I really started to learn that I could do anything I wanted to do if I put my mind to it, and you can do anything you want too if you put your mind to it.
A lot of people want the quick fix, kind of like “just tell me how to do it diet” but that’s not how true change and growth occurs. True change and growth occurs when you realize that where you are right now is not where you want to be in six months, one year, or five years.
If you are not happy where you are right now but know there is someone inside of you screaming to get out to become a better you, we should definitely set some time aside to talk about your dreams, and how I can help you. Visit my website www.kimjarvisco.com or email coachingwithkimj@gmail.com for us to set up a time to discuss how we can get you started on your best self today.
