Have you ever tried something and failed? We all have tried something and failed but it’s how we react to it that creates our success. Never give up.

Failure is a part of life. The only way that we can get better is to fail. Did you know that it is reported that Thomas Edison failed 10,000 times before he perfected the light bulb? And he said that he didn’t fail, he just found 10,000 ways how not to be successful doing it.

I know many people who are slower at learning something new, have learned the process but still struggle with perfecting it. They get frustrated and give up before they even try. This breaks my heart because all they need is encouragement to never give up. When you give up, you stop the opportunity to even attempt for success. But if you try and be your best, you just never know how successful you can be. Give it a try…you will thank yourself for it later. I promise!

I enjoy cooking and I do a pretty good job of it, but I always try new recipes so that way I can expand my knowledge and my talent. There are times when things do not come out well, but I wouldn’t call it a failure.  It is just away for me to NOT do it again. So, the next time you try something, and it doesn’t work out, you’ve not failed. You have simply found a way to not do it again.

The next time you look at something that seems daunting, impossible and ridiculous to try, that is the time you embrace your fear. The only time we truly fail is when we give up. We are always telling children and teens to never give up, keep trying and coach them to be successful but as adults we forget that we need the same encouragement.

Share with me somethings you have accomplished that almost had you give up before you started.

Until we meet again…
